I absolutely love Polka Dots! They are such a delightful pattern that represents fun and joy! They’re classic, timeless, and a fashion “must have” that will never go out of style (no matter what your age). Big or small, vibrant or soft, they put me in an instant good mood.
You’ll find polka dots all over my wardrobe, whether it’s PJs, a blouse, bathing suit, or dress! Recently, I discovered another way to wear polka dots… on my nails! They just make my fingers feel happy! The best part is that there are no rules when it comes to the context or colors! As you can see from my creations, there are so many ways to customize.
You can paint your nails with polka dots too! All you need are toothpicks, nail polish and about 15 minutes !
How to:
1. Pick your polish! You will need one for the base color, and the rest for the dots.
2. Paint your nails in the base color. This should be your lightest color.
3. Wait for your nails to dry.
4. Get a tooth pick (your dotting tool) and cut off the tip to remove the point.
5. Dip the toothpick in the nail polish that you want to use for the dots.
6. Using the toothpick, gently dab dots onto your nails.
7. Alternate dotting in different colors if you like.
8. Wait for polka dots to dry.
9. Apply the final top coat so your manicure will shine and last longer.
10. Enjoy your fabulous polka dot manicure!
