Ice Pups!

Summer is finally here! Flip flops, bathing suits, pool parties, and of course…ICE CREAM! I’m pretty sure my dog, Mason, gets just as excited for summer as I do. He may not wear flip flops and bathing suits, but when he sees an ice cream cone, you can be sure that he comes running! Unfortunately for him, he is not allowed table food, so you can imagine the damper that puts on his day. I am a sucker for my pooch, so of course, I always end up picking him up some ice cream for dogs (yes, it exists) out of guilt. Mason loves it, but who really wants to spend 6 bucks on 4 little ice cream bars that will be gobbled up in seconds! Plus, it’s probably not the healthiest treat to be feeding our K9 friends… so, what else to do, but make my own!

It was surprisingly super easy and the best part, he LOVED IT! I used all organic and healthy ingredients so while he is jumping around with excitement waiting for his treat, I am doing the same inside knowing that they are tasty AND good for him! This recipe calls for only 5 ingredients and takes less than 10 minutes to put together. Follow the below to gain some extra pooch points from your favorite furry friend!
